The annual retreat for the catholic students of St Agnes PU College

The annual retreat for the catholic students of St Agnes PU College was organised on July 21st and 22nd

Sr.Norine Dsouza, The Principal welcomed the preaching team - FrSunil Jose OP, Fr Sunil Lobo OP, FrDileepVeigas OP , Br Karol and Br David from Ashoknagar, Mangalore belonging to the Dominican order of priests.

On the first day, Fr Sunil Jose through his talk, made the students realise the unconditional love of God and His blessings in daily life.Fr Sunil Lobo explained the importance of Eucharist and also shared few instances in his life as to how God has worked miracles in him.FrDileep emphasized on the importance of reading the Word of God and reflecting on it. He also elaborated over the classification of the books in the Bible and the right technique of reading the Bible.

On the second day, Fr Sunil Lobo spoke on the gifts and fruits of the Holy Spirit. The students were thoroughly prepared for the sacrament of reconciliation and after receiving the same, the retreat concludedthrough the Eucharistic celebration during which scapulars were distributed to the students commemorating the feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel.

On both the days the students actively participated in the Praise and Worship sessions led by Br Karol and Br David. Through the adoration conducted, the students experienced the divine touch.At the end of the retreat, the students went home with a contented and renewed heart and a rejuvenated spirit.
