St Agnes PU College fondly bid adieu to the batch of 2018-20 on January 25th. The programme was held in the auditorium and was graced by Sr Norine D’Souza, The Principal, Sr Janet Sequeira, The Vice Principal and the faculty. The event commenced with the screening of a prayer song, followed by a host of cultural programmes and games.
Ms Hanan and Ms Ancita welcomed the enthusiastic students and hosted the event with flair. The Principal addressed the outgoing batch of students and wished them a very successful future. She also exhorted them to cherish the ethics imparted to them and to make their alma mater proud by being responsible citizens and good human beings. This was followed by the ceremonial handing over of the college flag to the Principal by the members of the cabinet. The Principal commended them for having discharged their duties diligently and meticulously.
Ms Susan, the student president shared with her peers, anecdotes about the experiences that have left an indelible mark. Ms Michelle from the Commerce steam, Ms Nicole from the Science stream and Ms Shashikala from the Arts stream came forward to speak about the cherished memories of these two eventful years; the stories of friendships forged , the bonding and the camaraderie they enjoyed on the campus. The Power Point presentation highlighted vignettes of the time they spent here. The programme came to an end with the vote of thanks rendered by Ms Sharol.
