2016, being the U.N. International Year of Pulses, ‘Shristi’, the eco-club conducted a cooking competition aptly named “Pulse Food Court” on July 21, to increase awareness of the benefits of pulses. Students presented innovative dishes incorporating the goodness of pulses and a chart depicting its versatility and its nutritional profile.
From 27 July to 5 August our College was abuzz with various competitions like Bhavageethe, Quiz, Mono acting, Rangoli, essay-writing and debates in both English and Kannada to encourage and promote the intrinsic talents of our students.
On June 1, 2016 Mrs.Kavitha Shastri presided over the orientation programme for the parents of I PU students. She highlighted the need to understand the problems of teenagers and gave the parents tips to solve them by bridging the communication gap.
